Providing cultural relevant food to community members fleeing the war in Ukraine: A necessity

Since the beginning of the war, the Global Black Coalition has been providing food to community members fleeing the war in Ukraine. For our team, it is important to listen to the community and understand their needs as well as the challenges that they face. One of the challenges has been access to resources including culturally relevant food.

Our teams across Europe are doing their very best and going the extra mile to ensure that community members, wherever they are have access to culturally relevant food.

Our teams constantly deliver culturally relevant foods and meals to community members. We opened a food bank in Paris, France back in April and we work very closely with our team members in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands to ensure that community members have access to culturally relevant food.
