HOME AT LAST! OUR FIRST AFRICAN UKRAINIAN FAMILY HAS ARRIVED TO OTTAWA, CANADA!

The Global Black Coalition is thrilled to welcome our first family to Ottawa, Canada. Two months ago we welcomed another family to Calgary, Alberta and in the weeks to come, we will welcome close to 100 families and individuals (students and community members).

We cannot begin to tell you how thrilled we are to be able to welcome and support community members across Europe and now, in Canada as well.

For many families and people, Canada was the ultimate goal and we are happy to reach that goal with them.

Thanks to Google , Global Giving and all our generous donors, we are able to support families and community members like the Hokcha Djiele family!

We thank everyone and all the organizations in Ottawa who have contributed and continuing to help us support the family Equal Chance, Hera Mission, Ensemble Nonprofit, the Vanier Community Center through Javier Clavelo Robinson and the ACB Wellness Resource Centre for welcoming the family and giving them access to the food bank right away!

Our Coalition continues to work closely with community members to do what we can to support as many people as possible.
