GLOBAL BLACK COALITION EMERGENCY EVACUATIONS UNDERWAY IN KIEV AND KHERSON

Over the past 48 hours, our organization has begun an emergency evacuation for community members trying to flee the war in Ukraine in Kherson, Lviv and Kiev.

Unfortunately this morning we were contacted by distressed community members who have been denied access to safety at the borders between Ukraine and Poland and Ukraine and Slovakia.

A total of 15 community members are currently being evacuated. Many have been able to reach the border between Hungary and Ukraine after being denied at the borders in Poland and Slovakia.

Our team in Hungary are welcoming them.

Our teams in Poland and Slovakia are also ready to welcome community members.
