Family away from home: a stronger sense of community

During the Easter weekend, our team in Poland visited students at their home away from home in Krakow to bring them food and celebrate with them.

Being away from their family during this difficult moment has been very challenging for many students. Our teams around Europe are doing their very best to ensure that these students do not feel alone and are always supported.

A special thank you to Yuga of the Global Black Coalition who has been assisting students and community members since the beginning of the war; from sending buses to the border almost every single day for 18 days to visiting them on a weekly basis with goods to ensure that they never lack anything in both Krakow and Warsaw.

Look at those beautiful people ! Wonderful does Yuga need any help? Is he still doing the visits? I’ve never been to Poland. I know Budapest well.
