A Historical win for the Global Black Coalition via Society Moko in Switzerland: Motion granted!

It is only a few days ago that we were informing you that our Coalition via Nadra Mao at Society Moko in Switzerland presented a motion to force the government of Switzerland to welcome Black people equally.

Today is a historical day, as the motion that was presented by our coalition through Society Moko and Noir Society passed! The Switzerland government has voted in favor of our motion and stated that “Everyone who flees Ukraine regardless of their passport will receive the same status if they cannot return to a safe country.”

We will continue to fight so that more POC are welcomed in bordering countries and European countries.

Our team in Switzerland will now head back to the asylum camps and help members of our community get out. We will keep you updated.
