A Black woman was shot several times, while attempting to get provisions to leave Ukraine

We are urgently working on the transfer of a female African student in Ukraine who was shot twice while trying to reach the borders. We will provide additional support for her which include a trauma informed mental health specialist. The young woman already comes from a war-torn country and had to relive some of her traumas through this horrible situation.

Our team is on the ground assisting her and many members of the community.
