The Global Black Coalition has been working closely with many Canadian universities and professors since the beginning of the war to ensure that international students fleeing the war in Ukraine can continue their studies in various fields.

If you are interested in applying to the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) and receiving a voucher to pay for the $90 application fee, please write and email to Kyomi Hastings Duncan at kyomi.hastings@utoronto.ca. She works at the UTSC Admissions & Student Recruitment office and she can do an assessment of your application materials to determine if you are competitive for admission to UTSC and eligible for the $90 voucher to pay for the application fee. Please identify yourself as one of the students who has fled Ukraine and has been in touch with Professor Nelson and Professor Topouzova.
